Minor Update

Based on Play test feedback adjusted a couple of things:

1. Fixed lighting in 'Caverns Of The Subconscious'

2. Changed player spawn point for more clarity (Yes you have to have both the Soul Key and the Eye within in the summoning circle to open the passage to the Soul)

3. Changed difficulty of the subconscious Enemy.

4. Added transition between the 'Snowy Mountains of the Psyche' and the subconscious caverns level

Playtests offered a lot of insight to improve development to produce a better game. Any and all feedback is more understanding into the players mind when playing your game. As a gamer myself and a Game Dev, sometimes I find it hard to differentiate when I play my own games, as I know the entire make up of its inner workings, how it functions and how to play it, I lose sight of the fact that I avoid bugs and just test out the feature I'm working on at that moment. Not really stress testing the games limitations. Using this constant flow of feedback and update made me see the importance of play testers and the valuable experiences they have the first time they touch your game. The first impression is really how most players will see your game, so when introduced to mechanics and features that first impression is vital to understand how most people will receive it. If instructions are too vague players won't fully utilize their abilities and surroundings, so even if you worked hours on that mechanic if they don't really understand how to use it. None of it matters. This is the reason I include videos of gameplay and how to play videos online and in-game. I want the player to really be able to understand what to do, and more importantly as easy as possible. To get them to enjoy the game as much as possible. Just like how I enjoy it. So I hope everyone who plays EOTB enjoys it just as much as I did making and it. And if anything is unclear don't be afraid to let a brother know.
