Welcome all to the first rendition of my psychological horror game. This is Eye of The Beholder. It is a submission to the Tavern Summer Jam 24. This project is basically a piece of myself put into video game form. the game revolves around a mentally "unwell" character and the inner nightmarish chambers which are his mind. You're tasked with solving puzzles, avoiding threats and discovering secrets to find out more of yourself. All the while a daunting voice follows you everywhere. The game's theme was Key item and the subliminal and symbolic messages are up to interpretation. The game is a prototype for a full scale version I'm working so this is just a test ground for the features I'm looking to implement in my upcoming horror game. This is my very first time delving into horror so Im pretty new to the genre. Working on creating a better game environment for scares .
